John Abraham Speaks On Goal
Before turning into an actor John was a footballer but it was only during the shooting of Goal, that John learnt to spin the ball on his finger tip. John said, “Foot ball is not about using your hands. I just spin the ball for fun. But during the shoot of Goal I learnt to keep the ball off the ground for 15 minutes or till I am tired.” During the shooting of Goal, John was injured many times. In the promos were John is seen having a bandage over his nose is an actual injury. John said, "I got hurt very badly and had stitches near my nose. In the football terms leg injury is known as shin splints and both my leg were injured. I went through acupuncture and current therapy so that I could stand and play." During the making of Goal, there was news of tiffs between John and Arshad Warsi. There were reports of creative differences. To this John said, "I always used to win. There was no creative difference regarding the film but it was mostly about football."
